It's times like this when I wish I had a 4-car garage. My garage is overflowing as it is. Hope the new owners appreciates the car.

I agree with you, Bill. A 4 -car garage would be great. There are too many cars for sale right now at very attractive prices. I wonder how long this trend will continue?

Hard to say if it will sell. EBay is not a binding contract and the lead bidder is a local used car lot...so I expect some games...I will definitely get a shark in the near future one way or another!

Hopefully all goes smooth with the sale.

I sold mine and then took a year before I bought another one, but I'm glad to be a shark owner again. Can't wait to get rid of this snow.

Where is this car located? I am in the market for another one. Would it be safe to drive it back to the Toronto area?

Thanks

New York-Long Island. I would not drive it to Toronto-and it has no registration, tags or inspection.

Wow 45 people watching and only 9 bids. That leads me to believe about 30 folks here are on the watch list! :-)

Mikster... eBay is a binding and enforceable contract (at least that is what the used car lot will say in court). Be careful with them, as they will probably cry 'Foul' if things don't go exactly their way.

You used to be able to put a disclaimer in the auction "car is for sale locally also" -cut they are local.

I can see them coming on to RL to try to flip your car for twice the amount... it is too bad really, that I can't get it... it would be a nice addition!

Not for vehicles:

From: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/bidding-overview.html

Bidding is meant to be fun, but remember that each bid you place enters you into a binding contract. The only bids that are non-binding are those placed in the Real Estate category and for vehicles on eBay Motors. All bids are active until the listing ends. If you win an item, you’re obligated to purchase it.

I wish it was true--but then again it saved me when a seller listed some critical information about a car incorrectly that changed the value significantly.

Ebay used to have a binding policy for cars until State Attorney Generals and lots of lawsuits made them change it.

Michael,
If you don't end up selling, I can get you an indoor parking spot for $150. a month, til you decide what you want to do. It might take the pressure off.

Thanks Lex--right now I have it in my garage. If the house sells and the car hasn't sold then we'll definitely be talking.
