It looks like the car is sold.

I'll update everyone as soon as it is completed.

Thanks,

Good luck with the sale, mine is an 89 S4 Auto with similar miles in generally similar condition from the sound of it. Just paid $6400 for it so that should help give you an idea of the value.

Thanks Mark!

I had to start somewhere on price; I don't expect to get the asking price.

For the ones that have not seen a white 928 and think they may not like the car just because its white, you need to reconsider the car. 928 dressed in white is an awesome looking car. Good luck with the sale!

I am going to get another one once we get settled in somewhere.

And if the new job doesn't work out, Dallas/Austin/Houston here we come!!!

We may rent for a while and buy a place to retire to in Texas so we get the tax benefit and can settle permanently there in 10-15 years!

Of course if you want to hire me as an assistant 928 wrench I promise not to mess up the cars too badly

Michael,
Sorry to hear you are selling the car but happy you are moving. I assume it is a positive move for you and your family.
Credit with 928sRus is good for the new owner no problems.
Best of luck.
Roger

PS: My daughter is doing great with the camera.

Thanks Roger-yes it is a good move. I just emailed you.

After 13 years at Nikon as a Senior Product Manager, I've taken on a new job at Casio as Director of Marketing for more responsibility and pay.

Different kinds of cameras to be sure and different kinds of Japanese companies to be sure.

Plus my wife's job is moving from Long Island to Manhattan (New York City) in the next 8-12 months so it's all good!

Thank you. It happened very, very fast but it felt right.

We were just in Houston and Chappel Hill (friends ranch--pictures of me on a horse). Almost made the lunch in Austin but had other family things to attend to.

I'm very tempted to buy in Austin right now and rent it out.

Michael, Congrats on the new job. The car is just beautiful. I just bought one very much like it. One part of me hates it that the prices are falling so fast and the other part of me loves it because I can afford to own one. I just drove back from the far side of MS and It was HOTTT down there. Beautiful country though. As nice as this car is, I don't think you will have much trouble selling it. Best of luck for you and your family.

By the way, if someone on the East Coast can store this for me in a locked garage I might be able to hang on to it...
