I fired her up at 6pm sunday. I was scared ****less! A few cranks to get some fuel... and she fired away. My 11 year old daughter went with me... babied her for 10 or 15 minutes(stopped and checked for leaks etc)... pulled up on a Z4 at a light and gave her what for. I had her in 2nd, she squawlked off the line, at 2nd, I eased her into 3rd... and at 60 or so she left some tire, Z4 might as well have been a bus.
Tim told me it would take about two weekends, right on the money! Next time I think I can shave a day or so (not as much head scratchin). The kit includes every part you might conceivably need and a few I didn't. Tim was extremely generous with his time, even on sunday morning! This kit is so tight... some clearances are paper thin, literally! Everything fit as advertised. The only modification I needed to do was trim the airdam that fit to the top of the radiator.
With the installation of a supercharger, you are into every system. You pull stuff apart to assemble the next step only to reassemble it again. I saw bits of my engine and car I've only seen in pictures. I trembled as I dug. That said I did it by the numbers, called for help a few times (6 to 10), and muddled through. Did I mention how tight things are? If I could complete this install, all you guys can.
I also want to say that Roger Tyson and 928 RUS are F!@#$%^ fantastic, truly great... without Rogers knowledge and skill I would still be struggling.
I do have acouple of issues that need to be sorted, but I'm pleasantly suprised she goes good. There's an idle thing going on and she stalled once... but I've got a few things to finish and cleanup. I figure a week or two to finetune all the bits. Maybe she'll go better when she's totally sorted, yeahhhh!
Tim Murphy is the man, I would tell everyone... if you want to go fast... go see Tim!!! thanks to all Rennlisters for all your words and support. Brian

Excellent! Looking forward to a brief on how easy/tough it was and what sort of unexpected things you encountered.

You know these threads do nothing but me me want to spend money. Could you please disguise them as, central electrical problems or something so I don't look at them.
