Oh.... Now I see. Sorry, I was very surprised to see the sentiment that I thought I was reading in your post. Makes sense now.

Really its not hard to follow these suggestions as they have been found by extensive repairs due to poor maintenance practices
I hear you, MrMerlin.
I ran 15w50 when i first bought the car, and the thick oil seemed to bog the engine down. It has awakened tremendously since then, I will consider the heavy oil next time.

I wasn't referring to the factory plugs. Don't worry about it though, I'll stop hijacking your thread now.

I didn't change oil weights in this oil change, just brands and purpose. I had a 50/50 mix of RP 10w30 and 10w40.
Now it's a non-mixed weight.
I like how the car's running with this collective implement.

Hey, Esprit, I've no problem with good arguments. Why else would I post here?
I'm not fond of mockery and people telling me I can't feel my car running better.

Reading these oil threads is "almost" enough to make go someplace and actually learn something about oil, but it goes away after awhile.

Mine would, but the wife would not approve of it.

Mine have the opposite effect. My wife isn't a big fan of my car collection.
