ARGH! How cool is that? Mark with the fastest car at the track... again. Still. Rolled it off the trailer, put some different rubber on and ran 1:31's for pole. I didn't see them lift the hood, or turn a wrench except to torque the wheels. The TruSpeed guys right next to me were all shakin' their heads and pissin' in their red bulls every time Mark went by... while I grinned at them and looked at my stop watch.

Kibort's racer is coming right along, looks good, runs good, sounds great (even at 92 db), needs ponies. In fact, from what I could tell by just listening, the only race cars at the track were the 928's and a Ferrari.

Great to see you guys. Way to run away and hide, Mark. Feels good to be in a sea of 911/996/997's with a few step child 928's... and wax 'em.

Garage was full of rear-engined stuff, had to settle for tarmac paddock.

Fast at rest. Told a cup guy that wandered by to look, 'here's your chance...'

Considering we are the only "unporsches" there, yep, cup cars and a few other 911s

Here are some of the pics.

Here is the video
Rear view cam
what is nice about this, is that the 92db limit this day, makes the sound a little cleaner.

Great video, love the rear cam. Silver Bimmer almost lost it in that turn. You pulled away from the pack pretty well in the straights, something you don't notice with a front facing cam. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video Mark, it is amazing how fast you are on the straights, but that GT3RS has some pretty impressive brakes, he was right on your back door again after you would pull away.

The car sounds great too!

Awesome, Mark. Love how you left 'em after getting around the beemer. Wondered what was up the first couple laps, you didn't look smooth. Once you were around, different story. Great vid.

Yep, I was trying to get around the BMW during the first few laps, where he was doing a little wide driving. Wait until you see the front view incar video and you wll see what I mean.

The first 9 youtube views are for me.

It's amazing. So many chances to get tangled with the bmw, and you weren't even close! Man! Steel nerves! Not even a hand off the wheel after all zig zags!

I really envy those fun races.
