What is "white paste" lubricant?

What is "white paste" lubricant?
I am ready to install new bushings in my shift linkage before reinstalling my rebuilt torque tube. The WSM calls for "white paste AOS1260006" in several locations. Can I use lithium grease? Lubriplate? I have nothing called "white paste" on the bench!
