You're reading all sorts of things into the discussion that was not stated nor implied. I'm not telling anyone what oil viscosity or brand of oil to use, I'm just stating oil facts. 40 weight oils must stay within a defined viscosity range hot thus they produce similar oil pressure.

All current car oil specs require an oil to stay in viscosity during the intended OCI. A UOA will tell you if the oil viscosity is still in grade at 212 F. The link below shows the viscosity range all oils must stay within at 212 F/100C, i.e. 12.5-16.3 cSt.

I have been using the lubriguard since the PO recommended it. It had been his oil of choice in the 928 for 11 years before I purchased it.

go get the engine real hot and see what the pressure ends up reading?
Its just a great feeling to be on the track, at 260F oil temps on a hot day and have the oil pressure pegged at 5bar + That's something you just dont see with many other oils besides redline or amsoil.
