I think "Trash Can Lid" rocks!

How about "Drain Grate"

Someone suggested that his wife is making him sell his rims, but I don’t think he’s married. Here is his dating site description of himself:

“Ready to start dating again: I’m a flatulent slob who enjoys picking at my scabs, somewhat D&D free, and never one to turn down any type of alcoholic beverage, even cough syrup. My hobbies include rodent taxidermy, bottling my own water and laminating used restaurant menus. If you decide that you want to meet me to go on a date, please allow extra time as I have to ride the “shame train” (bus), and we will have to go Dutch unless I make $11 for the “trash can lid” rims I’m trying to sell here on Craig’s List.”

I hope he has luck selling his rims, because this guy has more sales pizzazz and skill than Billy Mays from Oxyclean and Vince from Shamwow combined! I would be really hesitant to use the words “man” and “hole” in any advertisement put on Craig’s List; that could lead to a huge misunderstanding!

So if you polish a set of "Trashcan lid" wheels isn't like putting lipstick on a pig?

I always thought they are officially called the "Disc" wheels.
There are actually similar styled but entirely different "winter" wheels.

"Disc" or "flat disc" wheels sound good. I usually refer to them as "7-slot" wheels, have found several on craigslist using that as a search term.

Default Set of 4 'trash can lids' - Model and Value?

Hi all,

New to this forum. Came into a set of 4 excellent condition Porsche 'trash can lids' or 'manhole cover' rims.

Wondering if anyone can tell me:

a) what model of Porsche they were originally put on
b) what sort of value they would have at this point.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
