Yes he was. And of course we will give James a chance. No one is judging him based upon who previously owned the spare parts.

Best wishes,

I had a pleasant deal with James, aka PosieWebber, aka 928partseast on some GTS seats last year. The seats didn't work out great for me (different upholstery than my '89) but I resold them, and James was a prince to deal with.

* Just read a forum thread on this subject. In Leone's Italian-language version of the film, Clint says "Detto il porco" which translates to known as The Pig... fascinating!

James,

Maybe just upload the same list to a website somewhere with a note saying you're under construction and put a link to that in your sig. This way as you get more info (like the size and/or year of the engine blocks etc) you can add it or people can get in touch with you.

Just a suggestion and good luck!

James will carve out his own reputation for doing business. Parts are parts. Describing their condition, selling according to their condition, allowing returns for unforeseen issues and keeping clients pleased is the gauge for success.

Personally, my only dealing with Mason was picking up a set of wheels I won from him on Ebay. I drove to his place of biz to pick them up to save on shipping. He was not happy the wheels went so cheaply but accepted his fate and let me look around the shop a bit. His shop's shelves were well organized with many used parts and there were several 928s in various states of being dismantled or looking relatively complete in the space. Seemed like a reasonably run operation but my experience was OK. Some here have expressed dissatisfaction.

James,
I am looking for a complete tool set from the hatch of a 1984 928. Got a set to sell reasonably?
Also still looking for a chin spoiler in good shape.
PM or email me.

Wait a minute.... HEY JAMES! I KNOW YOU!!! Just checked out your profile and saw your last name Ferraro (sp?). I bought a door handle part from you and you let me replace it in your driveway so I could get occasional guidance through the process. You had a wrecked red S4 in the garage from Florida as I recall. We had lots of good conversation about 928 stuff. I wanted some more parts but I never followed through. You were in the middle of rebuilding your front steps at the time. 2-3 years ago?
HEY EVERYONE! JAMES IS A GREAT DUDE! I will be happy to work with him on buying parts.

Cheers!!!

Another suggestion - I'm full of 'em

Make the links in your sig live so they can be clicked on.

James -
edit your sig to the following by cutting/pasting:

James Ferraro owner/operator
928partseast@gmail.com
http://www.928partseast.com

That way your links will be hyperlinked.

Thanks to the overwhelming response to the business launch, with all my efforts to return contact inquiries and orders I may have inavertantly missed some people. It is easy to do with emails, pm's, phone calls and etc. If i havent gotten back to you yet please email me at the address and link in my signature.
Thanks,
James

I just saw Mason blasting up the Jersey turnpike in a red supercharged GTS!
J/K James.

BTW did you get that red 930 in the deal? If so I'd be interested in buying it as a parts car or restoration.
