This looks a lot better. Now it makes more sense.

The one in the original photo is terrible, distorted, etc. Maybe that's why the owner wants it replaced.

I still think it looks crowded with the 928S4 logo, but that's a different issue.

The "Sport" decal (hideous, IMHO, and three lines of text to read on those bumper covers is a bit much) might be available as a 968 part. Check this out:

porsche 968 sport decal OUTLINE rear , sticker

I believe there was a UK-only "Sport" 968 (distinct from and in addition to the "Club Sport") for the 1994/1995 model years. But those may have used full emblems, not decals, based on this photo:

More similar choices at Porsche 968 Decals, although the only "Sport" ones they show in that script are gigantic side decals and are prefixed with "Club".

I can host it and send you the URL from which to download. Jon, you can send to roberte01@gmail.com if y'all don't find a more expedient way to do it.

Oh man, my faith in Porsche has been shattered... Hope the rest of my day goes better.
its distorted by the curvature of the bumper there...bumper actually curves up slightly and makes it look "squashed"

Now that's some good Southern talk right there.

True, but it seems distorted in other ways as well. That's why I don't believe the picture shows an original decal from Porsche.

Check how the "p" flows into the "o" and compare it with the original decal. There is quite a difference!

But I learned something: SE models have standard S4 badging plus Sport decal.

I really think someone took a picture of the decal and did a "live trace" in Illustrator to create this decal. The appearance of this decal is almost spot-on to what a live trace vector file looks like.

^^^ I don't think so. Just compare it with the originals shown later, and pay attention to how the letters flow into each other. It's very different.

Maybe they traced the 968 emblem, which seems to be different from the SE decal, and then tried to turn it into an outline.

Roger, Email or take a photo of the logo to your local vinyl sign shop. I'll bet they can do it for $20 or less. Rod

The 928SE owners in the UK lifted the picture for me from http://928se.com/?page_id=2
Interesting site for those keen on the SE

I would say after zooming in some, that the one on the red car (reg PIL 8318) and the grey (reg WFN 980) are the same as mine - and the one in the original post (also grey) is different from our 3.. if you look at where the "t" of sport is located compared to the S in 928 S4..

I wish someone would make the "supercharged" sticker in the Porsche font like Andrew had. \

Black please.
