Default check valve

How critical is the black & blue check valve that is between the brake booster, and the 4-way to the vacuumm reservoir, cruise control, and HVAC system? It's missing on my car, and a strait connector is in it's place.

Thanks, Joe

It is needed Joe, with out it the vacuum storage canister can not store high vacuum.

They are about 5 bucks apiece, buy two and the fourway T's, they seem to shrink and get hard.

That exact 4 way tee, that no one can ever find, is a Mercedes part...let me know if you don't have the part number.
