$500 - exhaust

equals $7500
I have all the above minus the exhaust

If someone wants to give me $5K its yours! I'll take $4500 actually.

Then you need an exhaust for $200

you can buy new Boges for <$500 from Roger

$1000 for new engine gaskets, timing belt items and so on and you have a fresh fully sorted car.

Thats $6200

Hmmm, could I really get $2500 for a good S3 engine (80K miles)? This thread is making me consider parting my 86.5 project car...

Of course, then i read the Great Saves thread and I feel guilty as it's in far better shape than some of those projects started out in.

Its never that easy. I could see 10K to get this car running ok! If you want to sell the trans drop me a line as I am interested for a realistic price.

I got 7 for mine. But it was running, had a nice interior.. Engine rebuild at 120.. a spare 86 engine that also went with the sale.. PA state inspection. recent TB Ice cold AC and Yes it was a 5 speed with LSD. In a rare color of crystal green.. plus all service records. You are trying to sell a shell for 2500.00 with no motor. I was trying to be nice and talk with respect. Sorry my post was not pertanant to your sale. I only piad 3500 for my car when i bought it and it needed a TT bearing.

The car will have a new home!

It was sold without the transmission so that is now available pending acceptance of an outstanding offer to another rennlister.

If your interested in the transmission please let me know ASAP!
