Agree. Love to get my hands on a bracket, Jim. You've got to have an extinguisher in the car...

Don't know how I missed this one. I'd also be interested. I bought one from Stable Energies a few years ago and it didn't fit my power seat. I was going to try to make a bracket to adapt it so it will work, but this would be better.

Reviving again as I'd really love to have one of Jim's mounts in my car. Just the bracket so that the GB could be done with less drama about the cost of the quick release.

I did a one-off prototype, which turned out pretty good.

Were the project stalled was not having enough money for futher development. Buying three more 928s will do that to ya.

I'd like to light this one up again, because it was so close. Give me a month to see what I can do.

Thanks for you're prolonged continued interest!

PS. Did I post up pics here of the finished piece?

No, not of the final product. Only the first one with your adapter in place and one picture of the final rendering.

That's as far as I got. The adapter was because I messed up on the hole pattern. I have notes somewhere of what it should be.

I could design it to work with one or two common quick-release FE's... and if you wanted to use something different, you could just fab up an adpater.

Personally, a safecraft. I think they have a nice simple, effective mount, with the most reasonable price. And I'd probably be on paper for two of the mounts of yours.

backseat floor using the holes for the stock restraining bracket. Not sure how fast I'm going to be able to get my hands on it in an emergency but looks good, isn't in the way and the mounting is solid as a rock although there is a small rattle from the pin

Default Moving forward toward group buy

Alright, I have most everything in place to move forward.

What I'm looking for is a +1 from interested people. Need at least 15 people to make this happen.

This will include my bracket design along with the Safecraft billet mount.

Will fit Safecraft model PC, or other 2.5# FE's w/ 3" diameter (or slightly smaller).

If you want Safecraft's model PD, we'll have to talk about it.

Otherwise, you can pick up an FE from a your favorite source.

Like I said, just lookin' for +1's. No commitment needed at this point.
Following this, I'll light up a group buy which will include pricing.

Thanks!

NOTE: This bracket will only work with the '85-later power seat

Jim, +1. Looks good. Assume bracket attaches to seat rails?
