As I am still testing the new REVO system i was only running a maximum of around 10% of my Nitrous power...around 210 hp of Nitrous , but even that was only at the top end of the revs in second and third gears....
So a maximum of around 520 to 540 hp......

the 2.2 would give 118mph at the top of 3rd gear, and I dont think he is that far off of that. I dont know what is holding him back, probably the weight and tires for a couple main issues. Heck, I bet my 372rwhp 928 would get into the 12s pretty easily as it sits today, but Ill never test it, as I value my CV joints too much!

Brett Awesome job! Glad to see your not afraid to 1/4 mile your car to gauge performance. Nice job on your record! Your trap speed is high at 113mph! That's moving and should be good for 11.9 to 12.1 all day long! Your gears and tires are holding you back in a big way!

+1. Way back when I took my former '86 5-speed to the drag strip, I could never get a proper launch. The track was all wet and I was spinning my wheels almost all the way through 1st gear. I still managed to get a 14.5s 1/4 with passenger though

You are right...my diff is a 2.35 (auto with 8 plate LSD) AND 18X10 rears with 285x40 tyres (oversize for top speed) which doesn't help when drag racing...
Also it was on an old American WW11 CONCRETE airstrip with NO traction at all lol....so couldnt activate my "burn out" mode and had to time in a 2 second delay for at least some traction...
About the CVS.... maybe we should run a book on when I start increasing the nitrous power drastically (over 1000 hp) on WHAT will break first ...lol
I hope nothing but being a realist, I suspect cvs first....

Hmm... That makes a difference 113mph @ 3800 pounds = 428 hp
My own twin turbo according to a Gtech meter did a 14.0 @ 107mph 107mph @ 3344pounds = 320 hp from the 4.5 litre with 7 psi running on LPG.

Trap speed is power, especially with the top speed gearing of a 928 that is what you want to see improved upon.
I do however agree that the run with your setup is kinda weak. Although you may have your car setup to do something other than 1/4 mile drag race, the track is a really good place to do tuning. You should have started slow with traction and really gotten much more nitrous up top. You now have alot of testing to still do with the other '90%' of your nitrous capabilities.

I was involved in SCCOA for a while. Blown Thunderbird SC's. Kevin run's 11.9 @ 113. Dyno'd 364rwhp and 412tq give or take a couple. Thunderbird SC's weigh about 4200 lbs! Guy's running 10's in a blown six.

thats why I think I might be in the very low 12s. same spec as below, and 25% less weight. 3000lbs vs 4200lbs. what does the calculator show for 370rwhp and 2950lbs?

The calculator needs a flywheel horsepower input, what percentage driveline loss do we figure on ?
My old school dyno operator figures on 30 %, I believe modern vehicles are as low as 22% any thoughts ?

OK @ 25% driveline loss, which makes 370 rwhp = 495 flywheel hp. ET is 10.48 @ 129 MPH you know and I know a 928 is never going to run those numbers with a stock chassis and final drive.
I've got a really dull day ahead of me at work, so I might continue feeding numbers through these equations.
