Doubt it... The S/Ced intake will be WAY to tall I think... As it stands you have to get all low profile stuff to do a SBC conversion. If you are not doing your own wrenching on it, you will spend WELL OVER $5k on labor to have the job done and even then there will be tons of kinks to work out. Poor choice for a non-DIYer for sure! In particular on an '89 S4!

Anything is possible. No issues putting an LS-# in there.
Perhaps wait for a wreck supercharged LS7

Thanks James! Do you remember taking me for a ride in your 928 here in Dallas years ago? A rather "invigorating" blast up and down I-35.

Greg...when was that? Man I totally don't remember! Which car were we in? LOL! I have taken SO MANY people for rides I can't keep everyone straight. Kind of like, "You were my instructor at TWS, remember me?" Holy crap...I have about 20,000 instruction miles under my belt, I am lucky to remember my own name! LOL!

Pretty certain the basic 4.6L Mod motor fits, no clue on the SC etc. The critical measurements are all relative to the center of the crankshaft which has to be aligned with the clutch and torque tube. Adapting motor mounts and bellhousings are fairly simple, but if the motor sticks up or down too far relative to the crank, gets messy.

Plenty of NA power with a mod block, just resleeve with a big bore kit and you can easily exceed most of the limits of the rest of the drive line, 600+ rwhp.

How about this one?

Probably have to do some kind of custom rear hatch.

That would look cool coming out of my hatch, add some nitrous and I would be set!

RKD, I don't think that one will be a problem, but you might have to strap it to the roof! Plenty of HP for you though!

Hehe, looks like it's got afterburners too That'll prevent someone from rear-ending you, so your car won't end up like the GT that started it all

MUST do something extreme, otherwise the spouse wins the "Sell Or Else" argument that has been raging the last few years. An engine mod or swap turns the car into a "hobby" rather than a "garage-space-eating-lump-of-metal". You understand my dilemma...

By the way, someone please give me props for keeping the 928 in the garage, the C2S outside.
