I need to apologize to you both for a thread in bad taste last night. Dave, you and your fine folks at 928 Specialists did not deserve it and I am truly sorry. I don't want you guys out of business or any other vendor that keeps our cars running. After sleeping on it I realized I should have engaged my brain before typing. Again, sorry about that.

Roger, Sorry that I used such bad judgment in this quick remark last night and had your fine business on my signature field. That's not fair to you. I will remove it and hope that you will accept my apology in involving you inadvertently. I will take my flogging at our next DFW GTG.

Alex - I also posted on the thread as I thought it was a discussion about web sites and their pro's and con's. Seemed all in good clean fun until DR posted the following morning and pointed out it was about his web site and the various issues he has with such a large web site.
I also apologised and removed my posts after that.

You really have nothing to apologize for, everyone has their own opinions and/or can support whoever they like (or not).

Was it a little "jab", sure it was, but we are all big boys/girls here and if an innocent little jab like that is going get anyone all ruffled up...they should stay off the interweb. I honestly didn't even pay any attention to it until it escalated later, and then didn't even think twice about it. To me it was just the normal subtle jabs we all see here and there on Rennlist (and in real life everywhere) about whoever or whatever. If we all played perfectly nice like little angels all the time, Rennlist would be pretty boring.

In my opinion what you said certainly doesn't merit the need for an apology to me or anyone else and certainly not a public apology thread.....BUT since you went thru the effort...apology accepted (under protest because I still think it is not needed :-).

BTW, IMHO there is never a need to apologize for your true honest feelings or opinions.... as long as you stand behind it and/or don't try to back down from it, or "hide it as a joke" etc. Be proud of your opinions, they belong to you and no one else....and if others don't like it... tell them to kiss it. :-)

To paraphrase some advice recently given to me by my good friend and incredible fellow 928er, Marc White.."If they don't like it, tell them to put on some red lipstick and kiss your a$$"

I am glad we have as many 928 vendors as we do. It's great to have the option to purchase from a number of suppliers who in my experience the ones I have purchased from provided great service!
