Hey Roger and any one else, the 78 I looked at for you.

I talked to the owners son today, of course he says it needs nothing, says everything has been done, some how I do not believe that.

he SAYS it only has 34,000 miles.

Must have been parked out in the sun.

It has been painted.

Looks like a Euro that had the front fenders swapped (due to crash??? or just federalization?). Love the color and the Pasha interior... but 14K..no way.

Yea, it would be a money pit to make that one nice, I will say except for the one spot the paint looked good, I wish I could have gotten to see the engine and interior.

Bottom line is, NFW is that car worth any thing close to that amount as is.

There's a guy by me with a 78 that's in way worse shape asking $4800. I told him that I'd give him $1000 max.

They made the 928 in that color??!!?? Just about my favorite!!! I had an '84 MB 190E that was about the same shade. LOVED it!

Too bad this is being sold by a crazy insane person. $1.4k is RIGHT!

"It needs nothing" = "I hope you don't know enough about these cars to know what it needs!" I can see it needs a new front spoiler, a new dash, and a new passenger seat (or is it covered to preserve it's like-new condition?).

PS Greg - smoking is bad for you.

I do like the color. I don't think I have ever seen a Euro car done like that...ie. go to all the trouble to replace both front fenders but NOT the rear bumper cover. I am guessing it NEEDED the paint job AND the new front fenders!

That was a hell of a 14k miles it was driven. That poor dash too! Ugh....so sad! The cracks in the corner of the rear bumper cover don't surprise me at all...that seems like a pretty normal thing there, both my '84 and my '81 have that and have not been in wrecks. The '85 has been but it does not have cracks in those corners...go figure! Must be a heat and age thing that causes that!

It must be something about the Oakgrun color that causes them all to need a repaint.
