Fly out there,
check all the fluids,
pump up the tires,
fill with gas,
and hit the go pedal ,
dont be pussyfootin around,
drive your new car thats what its made for,
looks to be in great condition for a summer drive.
Goodluck there are many friends along the way !!!!

If you fly on Southwest, Friday, July 30, it's about $250 one way into Islip.

I'll pick you up, put you up if you need and drop you off at the owner's house or business. That should give you enough time to pay the owner, get the registration and title and fly in with plates. It's 1750-1850 miles from there...and you can stop at any number of 928 owner's homes/businesses along the way!

Thanks Mickster, I appreciate the offer. I just don't have the time for such a fun adventure. It's unfortunately gonna put me back about 1K though. OUCH.

Yup I know the feeling. I'm hoping I can drive mine back from Florida but I fear it will be $750-1000 enclosed instead...

Nice, congrats Brian. That's a drive the **** out of it on the way home ride if I ever saw one. Looks in great shape, fresh bits and rubber, right on. Have fun with that beast.

Drive it. I've driven 2 sharks, a Shelby Mustang and a GT Mustang across country, and there is nothing more fun than a road trip.

Congrats B! IF you must ship it Demoise Trucking is on the East Coast and are a great enclosed shipping company that I have used a few times now. Family owned and very careful with 928's. Ask for Bill, tell him I recommended them. No affiliation just a very satisfied customer.

Way to go Brian!! Another sweet Black 85 in the fold. Love the black interior too! Can't wait to see more pictures when you get it.

If you do, for some reason change your mind and drive it home, contact me and we'll hook up along the way.
