Hi,
I just wanted to share my new ride with you all!
I am really happy with it.
Its built on a 1990 GT and has most of the goodies from the Strosek catalog of the early 90s.
My dear buddy called me one afternoon last week and told me to check my email .
I clicked on a link and found this beauty for sale in Germany.
Called the seller and spoke my lovely Deutsch and found out that it could become mine..!
-If we hurried...
And so we did.
No ideal flights to South Germany the next morning, so we borrowed my mums car and started driving at 2 AM.
About 9 in the morning we hit German soil.
I called him again and he told us we better hurry coz there were many others that wanted it.
We said we were on our way!
-Have been driving all friggen night!
Reserveren Bitte!
Well around 7 PM we reached his little village and didn't need to ask for any further directions locally...
There it was!
Outside his workshop in all its modified splendor..!
We settled the deal and the seller and his friends were really nice people.
As we had driven all night we were toast...
So we were taken to a local inn, fed and then dove into bed.
Then we drove home the next day, about 1600 kms.
She had no major issues and hardly used any oil!
And now I am in love and will sell my other baby...
I will try to upload more photos, but there is some silly upload limit here...
Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I!

I have a very high regard for Strosek's work. He was one of the few "tuners" who would pick-up a car's design scheme and enhance it. His conversions were both functional and elegant. He is one of my design heroes - even if I admit that I'm not crazy about the notch hatch.
Congratulations to finding and purchasing such a nice example. How many kms on it? Please post more pictures!
Most of my family comes from Karsruhe, where you seemed to have picked-up the car (or at least registered it temporarily). Was the seller's name "Joe", and does he have any other 928s?
What part of Sweden are you in?

Really nice car!
Posting pictures maybe some of you guys haven't seen from a 1989 article on a Koenig. That was 5 years before I bought my 928 and didn't think would ever see superchargers like that here in the US and look at the prices on those supercharger kits with intercooler back then!!!!$22,000 and that was 430hp.
Is anything done under the hood as in mods?
