Instant gratification isn't what it's cracked up to be. Seems like there are more divorces than marriages these days, for example.

Many folks have used RMB's available, worth asking. As much as the richer outside sound is, I detest the increased volume inside. Put one on, and then have more interior noise to attenuate. Seems counter-intuitive. To me anyway.
I'm with you Dr.Bob. I love the sound of my engine and I don't want the exhaust to drown it out.

Younger than some dirt, older than other dirt. But not yet deaf. I very much enjoy quiet in the car, and if I drove it more I'd be adding in the sound-deadening and doing the cavity-stuffing to improve the quiet even more, as I have on all my previous DD cars. I've expounded ad nauseum on the idea that quiet colors on quiet cars mean I can drive faster without attracting unwanted attention.

The 'youngsters' who seek to "improve their manhood" with louder exhaust or bigger stereos assault my senses. If they really think that the loud exhaust sounds so great, they should run it inside the car with the windows up, so I don't have to hear it.

So there!
