Dan, I've got one waiting for you at the price we agreed on before. I won't be around Atlanta anytime soon, though. I can ship it to you.
Thanks Benton. I finally bit it and just removed mine and rebuilt it. No worries, too bad we couldn't line something up with both of our busy schedules. I know moving can be a real PITA sometimes.

Sorry we couldn't work something out, thanks for understanding. Moving is a total PITA, especially with all of these parts. Hopefully the warehouse we are in now will work out for the next 20 months or so, then who knows where we will end up?

I bought a window motor and dipstick from these guys for my 79 Euro. I thought I would spend an hour cleaning things up before I could install them. However, when they arrived, not only did they arrive early but the window motor looked new. I didn't have to do a thing but install it. The dipstick was also in great shape. Thanks Benton for great service. You can bet there will be more business from me as soon as I start to feel better. I still want to drive down and meet you guys but I need wait a while longer to give these new drugs a chance to work. Almost forgot that he gave me the best price I could hope for.

Thanks again,

Default window motor

That window motor was tested and blasted with walnut shells prior to shipmemt. We were just fooling around, The small square mark was where I removed an old sticker after blasting. Parts are cleaned before shipping to make sure what is going out - NO Junk out the door.

Well, I for one appreciate it. I am not sure if I told you or not but I spent at least 2 horus cleaning my old one and it didn't look as good as the one you sent. It works perfectly by the way. I am just waiting till I get a little more energy to attack the other stuff. Strong smell of gas from the s4 caused me to have to back it out of the garage today. Looks like I won't be driving it any more till all the gas lines are replaced. I need to do the intake r&r anyway.... And so it goes. At least with these cars we never get bored.

Mark,

Thanks for the parts. All were as described. Had parts in two days!

Appreciate you getting them right out, allowed me to install everything over the weekend and have it back on the road for the week.

Do you happen to have any airbag dash parts?

I'm in need of a passenger side air bag cover (perf in Classic gray) and the bits that surround the turn signal assembly.

Thanks a bunch for all of the positive feedback and the orders!

Sean: I will send you a PM later today with what I have; I may have a good bit of what you are looking for.

Andre: G28.11 is tentatively sold. I have to pull it out of the car this week/weekend and let the buyer know, so I will see for sure then. I'll let you know if the deal falls through.

Folks, I had the pleasure to visit Mark's shop today. We had made advanced arrangements for me to pick up a radiator and I was impressed.

The radiator was pretty much spotless as far as the expected dirt & grime is concerned! With about 100k fewer miles than the one in my S4 presently, it will make an excellent rebuild candidate.

While there, I inquired about a relay for my wipers -as they stopped working without a peep or warning of any kind. The relay didn't solve matters so I asked about the possibility of a wiper motor being available. He had one in a car with only 81k miles on it and would be happy to remove it, if I wanted it.

With a 'better safe than sorry' idea in my head, I said I would take it. He and GRD proceeded to remove the wiper motor and clearly showed 81k miles of dirt & grime... as it would be expected to. But they weren't done...

GRD took the motor and said give me a few minutes and it will be ready. Ready? When he was done and handed it to me -I couldn't believe it was the same motor! That thing looked like a concours part it was so clean! Well, as concours as a used part could possibly be anyway...

Truth be told, there were probably many more items I wanted to ask about... but when I got to the shop and saw 6 928s in various stages of disassembly plus a 928 race car and a couple of true 928 guys -my mind went blank. I am lucky I remembered the issue with my wipers, as it was like being around friends that had the same interests... only ones I hadn't met yet!

It was great to meet you guys and thank you for your excellent service!

Barry, thanks a bunch for the glowing review! It was a pleasure meeting you as well. Hopefully the next time you make it down it will be a little more organized in here.

For those interested, our eBay store is almost ready to roll. Items will begin being posted on Monday. Here is the link: http://stores.ebay.com/THE-NINE-SOURCE

Great looking store! The parts are well photographed, WELL DESCRIBED, clean, and the prices are very reasonable. I think you have a formula for success brewing here. I'll try your store for sure the next time I need a part.
