MMMMMM SHINY!!! -Round 1 with Jaws!
Well, despite the 951 being in the garage for TB/water pump/seals job that I am procrastinating on, I rebuilt the fuel hoses and put the new rims and tires on Jaws. The hoses were pretty easy after using a little vasoline on the fittings to make them slide easier. I spent hours degreasing, washing, and polishing the wheels. Whatever they came off of must have had an axle boot go bad as there was a solid layer of greasy **** on it. Most of the stuff came off, but a couple wheels have some spots that wont come clean. There are a few blemishes that I didn't see upon purchase, but not noticeable from 5 feet. Thanks to Tom and Mark at 928Intl for the center caps and new intake tubes that I installed. Thanks to Rennspeed for my new chrome nuts! I also got new intake boots but have to put them on still. After being underneath it, I will be busy all winter with new steering rack, hoses, and pump and brakes. The summer will be spent on torque tube rebuild and a/c system fix. The pans are gone and the compressor has the mount ear broken off. I didn't see any block damage, but didn't take too long looking. Runs strong and leaks mostly steering fluid, but will get better with more maintenance and updates. Note the right rear quarter light is missing and there is only a reflector there. Still love everything about the car, even if it's $12K away from being a $5K car.

Very nice! The 928 is one of the few cars that works in white.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. She's a driving work in progress.
You are correct, sir, just gotta make some more cheddar. I love this attitude. Next time I am in St Pete, we should meet up for a beer.
I've had this song in my head since putting the rims on...
