I tinted my windows with a very light, yet hi uv reflecting tint. Does wonders for keeping car cool and me cool when driving. Well, I am cool anyway but the rest of the interior needs help

Catch I see is that we are a small market, and have three types of rear fitting depending on spoiler. OB and S might be close to same, but flying wings would need either slots to go under or be a lot bigger.

I have never heard of the Porsche Sun Shades. Any pictures?

I have these and they work well and fit well.
They make them for all the windows, with them all on on a hot summer day in Georgia in a black car it is not real bad when you get in the car.

I had this discussion with Jeannie about six months ago, seems the reflective material with its backing is no longer available. Thus her supplier discontinued the product. I was after the full car window kit that Bill is referring to. Anyway, my wife as a sewing factory in our basement, so we could make them for 928 Specialist if someone could find the right material. I talking with suction cups and serged finished edges. So if anyone can help here let me or Jeannie know.

I looked around a little and couldn't find any source for the reflective fabric, but could be one of those invisible to consumers type things and easy for a business to find.
My preference would be either the cockpit style outside cover, or a flexy wire frame type interior panels.
Lots of tint seems to work pretty well for the rear hatch and quarters.

I hope DR and Jeannie start to sell these again, I really like the rear one I got from them with the 928 SP logo on it.

I use the Pop-up style shades on my windshield. Those have worked pretty well for me, and they fold to a really small size. However, I doubt those could be made to fit the other windows in our cars. I wish we could get the complete set again; I missed that boat in the old days.

They do not show up on there web page but they have die cut ones that are for the 928.
You can still get the rear one from DR, at least I think that is what they were in the office.

The Porsche shade used to be sold a long time ago.
I bought one from someone on here and the other from eBay.
Just a folding shade with Porsche on it that fits the front window perfectly.
As it would appear that everyone is going to be buying the complete sets from 928 Spec I will just move ahead with the folding shades only.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

Are the complete sets really available still?
I've been looking at a custom fit rollup from CoverCraft or Coverking, but holding off to see if something better turns up.
I still really like the idea of a cockpit cover on the outside, and have found a couple more "interesting" universal fits as well as the sized but not fitted and 928 not listed poptop.
http://smartcarcover.com/ sold on amazon and HSN gets draped over the car, and the door is closed over whole side part.
www.Lekasunshade.com is a Canadian stick stuff in the door and close it type. The front and back look like big spring loaded ovals, but trouble with both is that I found now owner comments on how well they actually worked.

I like Rob and Mike's desire for an exterior "cockpit" shade. Seems that would be the easiest/fastest/most protective option.
I'm all in for two if someone makes them.
