Okay here is the update on the white 1979:

"Hi Robert. The Vin# is 9289101394.
Paintwork: The previous owner told me that he touched up the rocker panels, otherwise I am not aware of any paintwork. If there is any, its about as close to factory as you can get.

Mileage: The clock reads 159125 kilometers. I have a copy of the title from 1996 and the odometer statement read 148000 kilometers.

Interior: The interior has stripped cloth.

I do not know when it was imported, the previous owner was under the impression that it brought over new.
Let me know if you have any more questions or if you want to see the car.

Thanks, Brian,
860-368-8171"

Its 98,875 in miles...

'79 MY ROW based on VIN. S spoilers do not belong to it. For real S model front bumber should also be different.

Meh,
Damn spoilers.

This is like people who conveted their 68-72 Corvette to the "more modern" rubber nose / tail. I suppose it seamed like a good idea at the time to modernize the car.

He just posted interior shots (on ebay). Looks good... front air damn and rear spoiler have to go, I wonder if its glued or bolted? Apart from that it would be a contender... but I am more into the earth tones
