A "Andy Keel" SC'd '87 for sale in GA
The car looks pretty rough ("tranny may have issues, may have blown head gasket"), but someone could get some free SC pieces if they want to part out the car...

My thought is that the blower setup is worth the asking price. The car is kinda a bonus. If you don't want this particular blower then it is less than a great deal. I understand that the kit was a little rough, but primary option is the Murph kit, which (as I recall) is more than this car, and (as I understand) makes power more at the top end and less on the bottom end compared to this.

A twin screw would have boost from the get go all the way to redline, not just top end On a built motor with forged piston's and proper head gaskets as long as you had a good IC the motor would be a beast. A twin screw likes to be boosted over 15lbs to low 20's. That's when you see what they can do. Running a TS at 5lbs is a joke if you have ever driven one at proper boost levels and tuned well. They weren't designed for low boost. The blower has to be worth at least 1500 and if you wanted to put a blower on a stock 928 engine you could save a lot of money and buy a M112 for 300 bucks.

As for the stock bottom end - the bottom end of an S4 is good for boost with stock internals and compression (pistons, rods, crank etc.).

I may make this guy an offer... although I don't fancy parting a car out and don't really have the space for it
