Default Indish red - guards red

Hey folks!
Always read two different names for the red 928s.
Is there a difference between those two colors? (Doesn't look like it)
Thanks
Chris

It appears that Indischrot and Guard Red are the same hue... according to the link both are 80K. I've always wondered the same thing myself and can not confirm for certain.

Also, according to this website Indischrot wasn't offered in 1987… that’s what I thought was weird.

Is yours an early 87? Maybe they didn't change the color over to Guards red on the line before they made your car. Indischrot looks to be a bit lighter.

Yep, I'm an early 87... maybe that explains it. Funny how so many little things are different with an early 87.

Besides, I think Indischrot Red is faster than Guard Red

My '93 GTS has both Indischrot and Guards Red on the paint sticker in the door jam.
