This racing wheel is old news, but it died off after awhile. It sprang back up all over the net recently, though.
The Porsche Racing wheel is actually created by German Engineers!
I will certainly be investing in one of these. Will make some damn good fun with a 5-speed Porsche in Gran Turismo 5, when my cars are down.

Apparently they now offer a 360-compatible wheel -- not that I care much, since I have a PS3. I was considering one of these a while back but I ended up with the Logitech G25. I bought the shift mount that attached to my Bob Earl Racing Chassis that I've had since ~2003 and I'm in business.
The G25(superseded by G27) has all of the extra buttons needed for menu navigation, etc. so that I don't have to keep picking up the controller like I did with my old Momo wheel. I talked to some people who had the same issue with the Fanatec wheel.
Also, I didn't like that the Fanatec wheels don't really give you a good way to mount the shifter where it belongs; the mounting system with the two rods is really flimsy unless you have the shifter right up against the wheel.
Of course, if you really want to go nuts you can mount things however you want. Here is an extreme example(starting at about 1:15):
