Question Power Seat Failure...

Quick question on seat electrics.
Brought my 928 GT to have it detailed.
Now my 12 way power driver seat does not work, fuse in panel is good.
It worked fine before...
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Definitely would prefer a dirty car with working seats

Could be jammed, as they prob moved it max front and back during cleaning, need to try the manual approach to break it loose?? OTH, I had one seat out of the car twice before I discovered a broken wire from some previous owner misuse.

Stan, does it have a circuit board underneath for memory functions?

Stan,

do you have memory?
Do you have any functions working or nothing at all?

If nothing at all, flash a light under, they probably disconnected the main plug while cleaning.

Stan,
it's possible the detailer could have dislodged or broken the harness under the seat, check for power at the switches

Yes - seem it pretty much has to be a connector under the seat that got pulled apart... remove the seats and check - easy

Might have come loose when they were vacuuming it out, reach down there and jiggle some stuff. Feel for loose wires.

Thanks, they did manually back it up, so any jam should have been resolved.

I thought it moved for a fraction after they manually adjusted it, but it could have been my imagination.

I will check with a flashlight, thanks.

Easy? Not as I recall. Definitely straight forward, but so time consuming. I hope it doesn't come to that, because there are too many other projects with priority.

Thank you.

ironically the first thing I see under there is dirt...... not what I expected to find after a detailing... No obvious wires disconnected yet.
