scots true euro with heads and Intake and 200ccs more displacement, only made 250rwhp. but then again, with just 300cc more displacement and no other changes, it then jumped to 290rwhp. keep in mind, it was an AFM version, with fuel ratios in the 12.5 range.

this has got to be the most powerful 4.5 L 928 ever! all US intake and heads??? amazing!

I wonder what this platform would make with heads and intake? 250?

Well I just got back from a 1200mile plus road trip in 3 days. Car drove great. What amazed me the most was my gas milage for a Kjet. I left this afternoon from woodstock ga and drove till my light came on the reserve. 368 miles and the car needed 16 to fill again. That is around 24 miles to the gallon doing 80 to 90 with 3 or 4 WOT runs. When I left largo I made it into ga racking up 352 miles before the light came on. I did a lot more WOT on the way to Ga! I was shocked because I usually just drive around town and get terrible milage.

Job interview went well and I think I found a nice home for the Family in Town lake, Woodstock Ga. Pretty place.

The funniest thing that happened was going down the highway with a Audi TT behind me. We worked or way down the highway for a hour give or take going between 80 and 90mph. I decided to move over to the middle lane to let him take the lead. He passed me and as he passed me he got hit w/ radar! I passed the cop, he pulled out passed me and ran down the TT. Dumb luck and good timing!

Good trip, good to be home.

Thanks for the info hacker!

Stephen, congrats on your succesful shakedown trip for the car. I reccomend that you invest in a Valentine V1. It will save your bacon. I know mine has.

Thanks Fabio! I put mobil 1 synthetic 15 50. I read a post and seemed highly recommended. I agree that oil changes and cost can not be skimped!

That is funny. Ya I hate driving down the highway naked! I need more money. My 928 fund is depleted.

Nice gains. Once again, it's proven that a good tune is as important as the hardware.

Why non-projected nose spark plugs? I though that projected nose helps in almost every engine that can physically fit it.

Well I just got back from the dyno earlier today. It was hot, 108 degree's outside where the car was dyno'd. I brought the car back to Rob who dyno'd it the first time. Mark mentioned about the AFR being high and I got it down to around 12.5. Rob also played with the timing. He had a headset on to listen for detonation. Car dyno'd basically 225RWHP in 108 degree temp. The chart was not adjusted. When Rob saw the temp he couldn't believe how hot it was. He thought she would be good for another 10RWHP in cooler weather.

I am on my way to the track to do another 1/4 mile run to see what the gains are there. We'll see.
