Default FS: S4 front brakes set

I am upgrading to GTS brakes so I have a set of S4 brakes for sell. $550 shipped within USA. (SOLD)

The Calipers are painted red with epoxy paint. The rotors are drilled. The rotors and pads have plenty of life left.

I am selling the S4 calipers, rotors, dust shields, brakes lines, and calipers bolts.

Come on OB guys. You know drill rotors and red calipers will get more bling.

You do know red calipers and drill rotors make the car go faster and stop shorter, right

Makes me want to find an 85 or 86 (not 86.5) with ABS so I can upgrade to these!

still available. I will even put the rotor in my blast cabinet to clean up the hat area. You will need to paint it to stop future rust.

Hey, I'll throw in a set of rear calipers for $175 plus shipping...

BTW, having done this conversion, I think it only fair to point out that S4 rotors are the wrong offset for an OB, 993 rotors are needed unless one is putting 86.5+ front suspension in. Apologies to the OP but since you are appealing to OB owners I think this detail should be known. The front calipers bolt right up to early spindles with an adapter, rear calipers just need a thin spacer(928 Specialists has them).

so, you need that adapter. Is it a common part now? (axial to radial mount converter)

Mark, I think all of the 928 vendors sell them. 928 Specialists & 928 Int'l sell the same part. If you're picky(like me) about having threads hanging out you'll want to replace the original caliper bolts with 35mm long grade 8.8 bolts, but either way it goes together with no drama. S4 front dust shields need to be flipped around and mounted on the wrong side of the car to clear the ball joints, rears bolt right up. I'm slowly making progress on my writeup that has all the gory details.

what else is there?

sounds like a great mod as we have discussed. S4 brakes, for the OBs, by using the 993 standard rotors, right? what about the 84 chassis? same thing?or is there a different axial to radial mount adapter?

who cares about the dust shields. cut those bad boys out!
