If you want cheap fix… use masking tape on the front to mate the two pieces then JB weld the back using a few small finishing nails in the goo for added strength.

Hey, now. It was like that when I got it; I'm just getting around to fixing it.

That's not the worst thing the PO did. Soon I'll post pics of the worst thing the PO did.

Depending on what type of plastic it is, you might be able to weld it. ABS is quite easy to weld. Others, not so easy, at least without the proper gas.

For a stronger fix, get a piece of expanded sheet metal (the kind with teh diamonds stamped into it) and lay it across the backside. Lather with epoxy after thorough cleaning/sanding.

glue the pieces fitted together to a strip of felt roofing material with black silicon sealant, a small bead of same between the crack as well.
