Default SCCA ITE races at Laguna seca 5-1-2010

I will be missing my first SCCA race in over 8 years. Economy has got this race team a little down. But, the good news is the car is done so we could race if we wanted to!! So, hopefully Ill be out there for the next laguna double race weekend in June.

Looks like, best case will be a half of a season this year and possibly a couple of the GTS challenge races with NASA.

If anyone has any sponsorship ideas, Im open to it!

However, Anderson and a the northwest porsche group will be out there running in our group 1. basically, everything goes is in our group. Then, Anderson will be racing in the Pirelli cup series in his GT3 in group 3, which is ONLY those cars.. race time is after lunch for group 1 and 3 both saturday and sunday.

Ill be there on sunday to cheer.

Anybody thinking about doing Thunderhill with Trackmasters & NASA May 21-22-23? It'll be my first real shake down at the lower weight, fully painted and in full race trim. Can't wait to see what's going to break. I'll be really happy if I can just get a good amount of seat time all three days.

Huge bummer with Anderson. I drove all the way out there to watch, and torchure myself, by watching the group 1 race. (first SCCA race Ive missed in 8 years ! ) and anderson drops an accessory belt, and his day is done after 2 laps! watched the ITE , (group 1 race) and it was pretty uneventful. my car would have been 2nd barring any mechanicals! RATS! (rylan did break) however, the day before, Rylan did a 40th to 2nd route, with only the times of my car now. Here is the video: pretty cool!
he is running 520rwhp but its turbo, so average is around 430-450rwhp if I was to guess. He is running 1:37-8s. Cool seeing him run around a few cup cars in the group too!
