Too funny.

The guy has the sign and pictures of the sign in front of him and still spells Porsche wrong in the ad..

I figured one of you dream garage guys might be interested.

Would be cool to put that outside above the garage! Unfortunately my wife probably won't share the same opinion!

Cool find though.

Embed them along the driveway light aircraft landing lights?

Get a really large pool an have them mounted into the side for pool lighting?

Plenty of ideas, short driveway and no pool.

I think I have enough hillside property to put them up and advertise to passengers landing at the local airport.

From my back yard I can look across the valley to the backside of the hill that holds the famous "HOLLYWOOD" sign. So here on the next ridge north, on the south face, it could say PORSCHE (or some wierd anagram...). Think anyone would notice?

Those are huge, 30in deep....I bet it would be easy enough to trim them to about 6in deep so they can be mounted inside a garage.

Those are pan-channel letters, each has neon tubes inside for lighting, you'll need 3 phase power to fire the neon transformers, should be 3 transformers, and letters need a heavy backing material like 2x2x1/4
angle iron or square tube for mounting. This is a commercial sign, it's not practical for a home garage.
I'm the welding superentendent for YESCO in Vegas, We're the oldest Neon Sign Mfg, in Las Vegas, and builder of over 90% of the strip Casino signage.
