Auto parts stores show them as M-8 or M-6, etc., just wondering if they had multiple names for the same 12x16 size. I don't have one with me right now and was out and about and wanted to stop by some places on the way home.

Thanks.

Brian 12x16 means 12mm internal dia, 16mm external dia. So you'ld be looking for one labelled M12. At a pinch a 1/2" internal diameter may work.

They should have had. I'ld guess they are still stuck to the old front brake line and coated in brake dust so you can't see them.

I can't find these copper 16 x 12 copper crush rings anywhere! Any suggestions?

I'm really good with the completely obvious.

If you need them immediately, there's gotta be a Porsche dealership in Austin (?)

Take the ones you have.

Take a sheet of black 600grit sandpaper.

Rub them around on the paper for about 30 seconds each, each side.

Use them. Done. Seriously.

Up here we try to use what we can in a pinch, heat em up or clean as landseer says and keep an eye on them until you can change out
