Example, a 911 SC will go 300k plus miles, but it will be DOG slow.

Now on the dealer carforsale. I would assume they paid 3500-4k for the car. Why do you ask, they are always looking for a home run sale! But, so would I. Who would not....

Its going to be a tough sale for the florida region. I can't imagine anyone wanting a high mileage Porsche without a warranty. Unless its me, LOL!

I would offer less than $6500, unless they included the shipping fee's. Dealer also get a discount on shipping. I moved a car from Florida for $180 bucks to Indiana with a dealer discount of shipping.

I like both cars, and might jump on either one of them if my carsales in a few days.

Thanks guys for the update! Cheers!

They would warrant it locally. The 230K car does have small dash cracks but otherwise is near-perfectly maintained.

I've got an '87 auto that I could sell for the right price. I just got done doing a complete top-end re-fresh. Will be tackling AC this week. It's a very clean car IMO. It's a very early '87 so it's a squirter block - so a good candidate for boost if want to go that route.

The car is located about an hour south of Columbus, OH - so it's relatively close to Indy.

The front bunper cover needs to be re-sprayed as there's a "spider web" crack. Looks liek a PO hit a post or something. Paint has not chipped, and is not noticable from 10-feet - can't even see it in the pics. There's a couple scrapes on the driver front fender (barely visible in the 2nd pic under the reflector) that also need to be touched up. Good thing is that the car is black, so no problem matching the color. Other than that the car is in remarkably good shape.

Car has MSDS headers and aftermarket stereo (Sony I think). Does not have the rear cargo cover or net. Does not have LSD, but it does have the extended hub on the steering wheel. One crack on the pod, normal minor cracks on the dash between the defroster vents.

I'm asking $13k but we can negotiate. Oh yeah, car is a 4-speed auto, and has 92k miles if memory serves.

Here are some pics (sorry no interior pics at the moment).

darn nice looking car. Something to consider when my car sales, though it might be above what i am wanting to spend. A few moths ago, there was a black 928 S4 forsale in Indy. Asking price was very similar.

This car might be a good example for Mickster.

I do love the color.

looks like the car on CL from Oklahoma sold, did anyone from this b-board purchase the car. I was very tempted, but the person who was interested in my car did not show up. As-always, if i am lucky to sale my car the good deals will be LONG gone. Oh-well. Just interested

later,
