Default Another Time Capsule pulled from the mothballs in Philly

Although the price is lofty to say the least, this one seems pretty legit:

I don't have a 'collection' but if I had this car, I'd certainly start one...probably in my living room.

Its beautiful. 86 vs 86.5 really makes no difference to me, I'd love to drive it.

This is the car that the Philly used car guys picked off of at charity auction. Car was apparently donated! Word is they paid 12 ish. Not sure how many middlemen, if any.

As the saying goes: "Hogs get fed, pigs get slaughtered" At $40K the used car dealer has a real firm grip on that car. I guess he doesn't need the $12-$15K he bought it for back anytime soon. Nice car though!

Yeah buddy - I'd love to drive it too - I'd make a high mileage $5,000 car out of it quick!

Pretty sure this is the car Mason Fine was peddling on RW last winter.

The seller was driving the car around in the snow and salt!!!! Smart!!!

Are there any stories on this car or is it the real deal? Specifically is the paint original or does it have evidence of a respray?

Still can't believe they would drive it on salty road.

What a beauty but not worth 40k IMHO. Maybe (big maybe) @ 20's for the right buyer. That is if service was done to time schedual with records but that is not the case. Drive it at all and i think it will leak from everywhere.

I think this is like the 3rd or 4th thread for this car! Poor horse we keep beating the carp out of it not realizing that it died MONTHS AGO!

As I have said in EACH of the other threads, I have talked to the yahoo's selling this thing and they told me they had an offer at $30k and I told them to take the money and run because that was ALL THE MONEY for this car... obviously they didn't take my advice and I bet that $30k offer is not there anymore (if it was EVER a REAL offer in the first place.)
