Default Best use of a Boxster yet!! (TT 928 engine)

Went to a car show this Easter weekend in Sweden and stumbled across this monster!!

Pretty much know nothing about it, but looks to be one hell of a ride!!

Apparently they first started the engine just a few days before the show, so there's no Hp or acceleration figures....

Now that is a boxster I would like to OWN! Looks like a 928 5.0L engine. I like the custom intake. Would be interesting to see what kind of power it will be making. That thing will FLY!

I am impressed with what it took to do that.

It looks good, but I am not sure that a 928 engine would have been my first choice for that.

I wonder how much boost they are going to run?

Based upon the cam covers, looks like an S3 motor.

What part of the Cayman/Boxster did they keep? (Nothing aft of the driver's seat for sure.)

I bet it is pretty light.

WOW...it looks like its a 2nd generation compared to the website.....but I am glad to see they ran a drysump....but why run a drysump and keep the stock pan?

S3 heads for sure. But I would put money on the fact that it is an S4 bottom end. This will give around 8:1 CR iirc which is much better for boost.

Just saw 'bwmac' posted a pick of this cars intake on Sterlings ITB thread... reminded me that this car is now for sale... 789000 SEK!!!

Seems it really didn't put out so much Hp... 500.4 (unless that's Kw...)
Hard to know here when it's not specified, as Sweden is supposed to be metric, but many places report Hp and Nm combining imperial and metric

Anyway... translation of the above advert...

I used to have a fabbed dry sump pan but changed the design to use a stock one now, long story but there are advantages.

Saw it was a 968 transmission... That is odd considering it is a rwd style transmission and the one in the car looks like a mid engine transmission...

Maybe a typo and it's supposed to be a 986 (aka boxster) transmission?

Either way, awesome build
