Mystery Wires
Hi,
Any suggestions on what these are. I suspect PO add-on because car starts and runs after the disconnect but opinions are welcome.

Single is O2 sensor, double is sensor heater.
The O2 sensor heater 12V comes from the fuel pump relay, which also supplies the injector 12V. (Only the fuel pump is fused.) If the heater is faulty, then the injector voltage may be too low?

Aren't those for the oxygen sensor?

The gren one is the O2 sensor wire. It plugs right into the socket of the other wire. Are your cats removed?

You should probably test your O2 sensor - must have been a reason po unplugged it. I believe performance can be adversely affected by a bad O2 sensor.

Thanks but I just unplugged it today as part of my never ending search for my 2.4 amp battery drain.

it runs without it , but you want it connected, even in a race car without a cat
