Default 82 5 spd window regulator question

Hi every one, This is the second time that my drivers side window has fallen to the bottom of the door. When I removed the side panel I could see that the round wheel had fallen out of the horizontal track that makes the window go up & down. So I raised the window by hand and raised the channel with the window switch to the same level as the wheel and it easily went into place.
Now today with the window almost all the way down, I went over a bump and it popped off again and the window is at the bottom. Soooooo what holds the wheel in the track???
Thanks in advance!!
Rick

The wheel is a nylon wheel that travels back and forth a s the arm waises the windoe. The Nylon wheel gets worn out over time. The correction is to replace the regulator. I dont think the Nylon wheel is available separately. This use to happen from time to time on my prior 928.

The nylon wheel is available as a separate item. Any of the 928 parts vendors should be able to hook you up. Some supply a threaded fastener to attach the wheel while others send a new rivet. Either way it is probably best to remove the regulator from the door to make the repair.

I have both regulators and door motors just pulled out of my 928S4.

I was going to put them on ebay.
