Wow that looks like a winner.
Cars that sit can wake up if u start driving them (my car is) as the little motors and things get active.
My list for any old car coming out of mothballs (Some folks have covered this)
Read the FAQs (First thing I would do)
Change fluids and filters ([engine, trans, coolant, rear-diff]if u cannot confirm this has been done)
Do your grounds (lots of things start 'working' if u do)
Check the relays/fuses (sometimes the wrong fuses or missing fuses can cause problems)
Replace vacuum lines / inspect any underhood 'rubber' for decay.
Replace ignition wires/cap and rotor (yes if your stuff is in good condition u can 'delay' this but I usually just save suspected good parts in case I have a failure i can use them for testing).
Inspect / Replace fuel lines (No car-b-que please)
Inspect and repair brakes/suspension stuff
Inspect / replace motor mounts. (if u have the fluid ones (Cant confirm if u do ) they can collapse).
Oh dont forget the little powersteering reservoir. I has a filter in it , its a service item (replace i believe) and can safe you trouble with the pump and steering rack .
Oh and a good cleaning after everythings done. Looks good to me! Thumbs up

So, the engine number is on a flat part of the block, I think near the center of the engine, close to the thermostat at front of engine.
By "title" in the USA we have documents for transferring ownership and getting license plates. This documentation restates the same VIN number on the car, and its year. That's what I meant. You might not have the equivalent in Norway. Don't know but assumed you did.
Until you showed the rest of the interior, I surmised it might actually be a later car and the paperwork might show it. Looks now like it is indeed early, with some converted parts.
Some times us old folks get stuff confused. My son chased a craigslist ad two weeks ago. Older woman owner, said she had a 89 9285 speed. He finally tracked the car down in a farm building in North Dakota 15 miles from Canada. It was a 87 924. Owner was just confused.
Car has some nice features, congratulations!

Thanks
I've read LOTS and lots of faq's and DIY's, the workshop manual is in the mail from UK as we speak, and read about everything on Dwayne's garage and Skarskin's pages
Think I'll be changing most of the fluids this week, I have an appointment to get the license plates 16. april, so hopefully it's tested and fixed the brakes by then
EDIT:
Yeah, that's what i thought. The car was imported from Germany to Sweden in 2000, but never putted on plates. It sat still until february 2010 when the owner sold it to me, and now it's in Norway. I've got the german papers on it, so I think the title is ok

Odometer reset is the bottom button on the left side of the guage pod. Push it and it should reset. Just make sure car is not moving when you push it.

On my car, its is a rear foglight button instead But did some searching, and it seems that it's the button beside the instrument light dimmer.

Another question, which I've tried to search:
The Central warning light is lit(suprise...), but won't cancel or reset. Which sensors triggers this behavior?(I read that serios issues causes blinkling light, and minor issues can be canceled but what about this?)

Bad ground on the firewall caused mine. Been sufferring with it for months. Found that one tiny ground was not attached on the firewall and was hanging behind the CE panel.
There is actually a chart, though, posted it the other day, let me look for it.

I fixed mine the other day by going in behind the foot rest (10mm socket) and removing the connectors, spraying a little, and then replacing them--exercised them a few times. Worked good. All lights extinguished!

I'll guess it's some kind of electronic cleaner. For example this:
