I haven't done squat yet. Not even sure what day we are leaving or how long we can stick around..... I considered those secondary details

I should probably look at the schedule of events a bit closer.

As of right now, we will not be leaving GB until Thursday afternoon and might have to be back on the road Sunday morning.

From my driveway to the Best Western = 858 miles. Depending on how we time Chicago that can add 2+ hours
I'm hoping we can be on the road by 6PM Thursday, get to Chicago by 9 and fly through.

Need to do some research on smokey activity in some of these states.

BTW, for you lucky guys/gals that can take the extra time to make SITM an "extended trip".. The Wolf Ridge SCCA Hillclimb is the next weekend (June 12,13), about 30 minutes west of us (Wolf Laurel, NC). Jeannie and I are going and it would be great if some of you can hang around and go too.

One of the cool things about hillclimbs is you never know what people will bring. I remember one year at Chimney Rock HC someone brought a 427 Chaparral (2 series?), talk about overkill, way too big and way too much power on the narrow CRHC, BUT it was cool to watch!!

I just got the last "double" at the BestWestern(450pm left coast). Having missed the last years or so worth of 928 events i need to "get out". Not 100% sure..but i will be there if i can. Looks like a great event your working on DR, as usual!
