Default O-ring sizes for A/C system and other questions

Hi folks,

Can someone tell me proper sizes for the O-rings at location 16 in this diagram: http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...91/813-25.php?

My kit goes from 6mm to 8.8mm. 6mm is definitely too small, and I am not convinced that 8.8mm isn't too big.

Wait, one more question....

I bought a Parker Hannifin dryer. It's a smaller diameter than original, so doesn't fit the clamp. What have you guys (and gals) done to deal with this?

Thanks.
Paul

I added a plastic shim inside the clamp. I also added wear pads on the power steering cooler (that black tube that runs across and back under the dryer) so there would be no wear at the new contact point. The Parker 944 dryer is a popular 928 replacement since there are a lot more of the 944 cars around and the fittings line up nicely. It's a bit taller and skinnier than the original part, and with just these two little mods it works perfectly.
