Default 80 euro? at a tow yard, cheap i think

I went to look at an S4 that they were holding for someone, and noticed this back in the corner, nearly hidden by several other cars. ODO reads 89k miles and VIN is 928101091, which decodes to:

VIN : 928101091
MODEL : 928
YEAR : 1980
ENGINE : 4.7LTR [EURO]
BODY : COUPE
SERIAL : 091

It's rough and would crank but not start, but they said it ran when it was parked many, many years ago. Exterior is dented, rusted, and rough. Interior is shot and smelly. I was told it was owned by the owner of the tow service/junkyard and he said to make him an offer, his daughter said "just get it out of here." So, I think it could be had very cheaply, if anyone is interested.

Here are some pictures.

There's some funky fun house mirror thing going on in the one pic, my *** isn't really that wide.

928101091 VIN is wrong. Its missing at least one character. Closest match is probably 9289101091 which is obviously '79 MY and thus has 4.5L. Also engine is clearly 4.5L and '78-79 MY version and there are no spoilers either so its not 4.7L S.

I was gonna say it doesn't look like a 4.7L euro s....the 1st thing I noticed is the vacuum dist, I thought the CIS Euro S did not have a vac dist, but I could be mistaken?

Under all that dust, it does look like a 4.5l engine.

Tell him you'll haul it away if he gives you $500 and go from there.

Oh, just save the poor girl. A trip to the carwash on the way home, and discard the interior at the nearest dumpster. Another racer, LeMons even, if nothing else.

We need to start our own race series. Ratted out 4.5l OBs only.
