Good to see there are a few good price sensitive options out there.
Some tire dealers have those listed as summer only, some have a four season version. I assume there are two versions. I know they are made by Bridgestone, and have access to their tire compound technology.

I will be putting on Continental ContiSportContact.

In 2009 Porsche did a review of modern tyres on their cars and recommended the following tyres for the 928 for 16" or 17" rims.

Michelin SX MXX3 N2
Bridgestone Expedia S-01 N2
Bridgestone Potenza S-02 N3
Continental ContiSportContact

This is information is from the 928 org uk site

Default follow up on Kumhos

I don't mind a softer ride in this car, I have one street/track car that is harsh enough (not to mention the track/race car that is much harsher). I am probably eligible for the old guy pass too
Please let us all know how you like them. I hope they are not too (old Guy) for you.

Not surprising, few years ago it seamed like everyone had RE730's on their sports car (Porsche, Vette, Ferrari etc...) I still have mine mounted on spare "storage" wheels.

Only complaint back then was noise, which Damon said he's not hearing about the 730's

So far no complaints, quiet, with a good ride. I was surprised to be told the pressure should be 40psi or higher. Any thoughts/experiences with air pressure?

It's a transliteration of 한국 Hankook/Hanguk means (South) Korean.

I didn't know about the recomended 40psi or higher. I'm still using the presures recomended it the owners manual :banghead. That might be why I have experienced the poor handling when I drive it aggressively. I'll go to the recomended 40psi plus and see if it improves.

I've searched and searched... And the Hankook are always the highest rated tires on reviews. And sometime by a huge margin.

Got myself a set of 4.

2 x 225/40ZR18
2 x 265/35ZR18

And the price is quite nice.

They get a 4.7 / 5 rating from people's review on 1010tires.com

For 17", they are all under 200$CAN.
