So true.

So far mine hasn't gotten mad. It's a love/hate relationship with her and the car. Mostly love though...

You have just been rescued from a deserted island after three years...who you going to ride first?

If it's the 928 your either gay or you broke your jr. making it with a coconut.

..so this might be the thread to pose this question:

How do you prepare the non-car-enthusiast wife for a second 928 when your first one* isn't a necessity/isn't a daily driver?

BTW, I have 3 kids - 12, 10 & 7; we both work, and she's probably the least self-indulgent woman that I know.

* "first one" means first 928 not first wife. If it were the latter, this would have to go OT

I find the Shock and Awe approach works best in this scenario. Nothing like another car in your driveway or garage that your wife has not seen and say SURPRISE!

Are you a married man? And if so, which wife are you currently on?

Yes, there could be a down side to that approach ;0. How do you think I got the 912? Wife was so upset she cleaned out the other side of the garage, so it would fit. And trust me she was pissed! My 928 was barely a weekend cruiser at the time. Your in a no win scenario. Best to go for it and plea insanity!

1st wife for now. Good Luck!

Ask Mark Kilbort and SharkAttack(Kyle).

My wife is finally understanding the issues and we have 4 kids 11,9,7,3

lol - I had almost forgotten about starting this thread last night ... the port was delicious, but sacrificed a few brain cells. Oh well ... after 19 years of marriage, I think I'm allowed to poke a little fun at the institution ... amusing to see some of your comments also.

Cheers.

Yeeeaaawww... good luck with that.
I have found that agreeing with her when she explains how selfish you are doesn't hurt.

Man, you like to fly close to the flame. I'm not quite there yet, but I think that this 928 may be an affliction. Can I consult you if I can't find restraint? You could be my sponsor.

EDIT: I'm starting to understand the meanings of the designations under our names. "User" and "Addict".
