She was up for the Maine winter, I've been starting it up every two weeks religiously. I got in fired it up, drove two miles, came home, washed it, went to start...nothing, zilch. No clock nothing. Took the battery to napa for testing, she's dead. Buy a new battery, bolt it in, turn the key...nothing!(clock works). WTF!!! When I washed no spray under the hood. The hot terminal has got the proper cover. I didn't even spray under the car! As far as I can tell my grounds are clean and good(I haven't touched them this season). I really want to drive my pride and joy, can you please help me?!? Please! Thanks, Brian

add an additionl ground to chassis from the battery with a jumper cable this might tell you the ground wire is bad, my guess is that your hatch seal leaks some and the ground cable has gotten wet more than a few times.
Also open the Ce panel cover and inspect the CE panel for water tell tale drips down the CE panel supports,( inspect the blower box for water drippings) remove and clean the fuses with an eraser. as well as the relays, any relay that has corroded pins smell and open.
Inspect the hot post for water and the 14 pin connector as Andy has suggested

Lock the drivers door with the long key, then unlock it. That should negate any alarm issues. The alarm should have reset when you disconnected the battery, but it doesn't hurt to check.

Glad you figured out your problem.
I would still suggest to follow all of the pointers that I mentioned in addition to fixing the ground strap
