so i had a left over carpet piece from Robs kit, turns out it was the amp cover. Well my car came with the small box, not the larger one. so i decided to make it.

I started with some ABS plastic sheets and cut two parts for each side and glued them together with 3m super spray adhesive.


Then i used some angle and bar aluminum to support the sides and used rivets to hold it all together.



then i added the carpet and installed!

That came out pretty good. If you still have an amp in there you may have to add some vent holes where the old ones were but it's built at least as well as the old fiberboard ones (fine unless it rains where you live ).

I stuck mine under the radio in the dash. It will all fit in there.

i might try to do a double DIN install. but i dont know yet
