Here are several photos of a similar car that was up on eBay around Nov 2009. I thought the color was unique enough to grab a screen shot. With the white license plate it gives some idea of the true color.

For reference, I think it went for $10.5K on a buy it now. Interior was pumpkin colored and in very good shape.

For a non-standard color, you can't beat this, IMHO.

Wow!!! The second burgundy colored S4 is gorgeous!! I would trade my red S4 in a heartbeat if that one is a 5 speed.

It's a 4 speed. Automatic Sorry not for trade or sale.

Relatively many ROW cars compared to some other colors due to it being available in early GTS model years. I think I have seen 10+ for sale over the years. Colors which were only available in '94-95 are rarer in general simply because so few cars were made. Many of these rare late colors were introduced when 993 came into production. There there are really really rare ones like signal green which was early GTS color but AFAIK no one has seen original 928 in that color. Problem with knowing number of each color made is that info is not easily available and thus there is no complete list of how many were made. Only late MY US cars are known.
