I'm not arguing. I'm just asking to have it pointed out to me. You're the Paint God Afshin. So, when you say there's overspray I believe you, but I'd like to learn to see what you see. All I see is red. Red 928s are red all over and underneath too.

I wonder, if the side moldings are new, or if they are old ones that have been removed. If they have been removed, they must have closed the holes in the body panels, which would be a reason for the repaint.

If that's what it is, and it has been done right, it can be a good thing. Otherwise it would be interesting to know the story behind the repaint.

Note the broken rear AC vents. LCD clock seems to have a display issue. Strange "print" in one of the rear seats. Overall, it's nice, but far from sensational. The Saab I just bought with 49k miles was cleaner.

I, too, am curious about the cup holder.

Yes, this is what I also deciphered from the pictures. Note that the undercarriage of the car has not been cleaned so when you see a perfectly clean section with deep red paint it's a clue to a respray. Combine this with the included side moldings and you have enough evidence from pictures to assume a respray has occurred. I'm 98% confident the sides have been resprayed. Not sure on the rest of the car.

As Nicole noted, it isn't a huge issue if it was done to remove the side moldings unless you want something original.
