Default This S4 worthy of comment?

Surprised this Ebay S4 5 speed hasn't generated a thread yet.......so I'll start the trouble. Priced near GTS territory.

I'd rather pop those type of dollars on a new loaded Hyundai Genesis 3.8 track coupe with paddle shifters, or for a good GTS, or 993

or if you have money to burn here's a $30,000obo 928S, caution however it says if you see it you will buy it , (no intention to hijack this thread)....

[Obi Wan Kenobi] They should get their full asking price, it's a beautiful example of a 5-speed S4. This is the 928 you're looking for. [/Obi Wan Kenobi]

Paint and Body can't be original. Very obvious evidence of overspray underneath each of the doors and even more evidence with the included rub strips which are also being included in the sale. Some sellers really should do their homework before they claim original paint/body.

Rest of the car looks good but not sure if its worthy of the price. If the PPI checks out and the cosmetics are nice it might be worth making a reasonable offer.

Another comment, why would anyone place a bra on a sidewalk with the soft side facing the ground. If someone here buys this car I would strongly suggest a thorough cleaning of the bra or just discard it.

I just got word of a Silver 87 S4 5 speed with 44K miles with up to date maintenance and records in the Atlanta area for $17.5K. Supposedly it's in excellent condition but I haven't seen it yet. I'll start another thread about it soon but I thought I'd post it here for the sake of comparison.

Upon further inspection most of the body panels do appear to be original. Can't confirm if the doors are original but that can be checked easily in person. It has been painted but if it was done to remove the rub strips its not really an issue unless you're looking for a collector quality car.

Anyone know detail on the cupholder? Aftermarket? Porsche? Where does it mount? (Assuming that is what I see in the picture with the belts). Don't think I've ever seen so many pics for an Ebay ad.
I saved the pic of the belly pans in case I ever find some for my car.

I'm guessing the rub strips were never installed because they seem to have packaging as though they were bought as spare parts.

Nice car with average repaint. It think it is good all the original bits are still with and come with the car. Could be a good car if all maint and ppi are good.

I hope they get their asking price. Probably not from anyone here.

Looks like a good package and a caring owner. Has at least a 1k worth of extras. Pending PPI I think it's not priced high. That is a great ad with lots of pictures I hope he gets good money for it. I see a 20k car in my eyes. To bad it's red.

Wow, $24+.

Would really need to scour the documentation on this one.

Maybe a little oversight on the seller's part. Repaint vs. original...no big deal. We'll let it slide, since it is afterall

..and therefore a bargain for such a car.

If $24k is in your budget, I can't see not spending a bit more for a GT or GTS.
